Automatic page redirect does not work for https:// Web page addresses (HTTP over SSL).

You will most likely see an alert window that states "The connection to (the https:// Web site) has terminated unexpectedly. Some data may have been transferred. If you do not see a redirect Web page, and instead see this alert, you can proceed to authentication by entering a "http://" URL in your browser's location bar.

This problem can be prevented by changing your browser home page to a non-https:// one. You will not be able to get to the authentication page unless you enter a "http://" URL if your browser's homepage is set to a "https://" Web page.
